Choreoraphing
Assistance with your next dance routine
Dance is one of the most expressive art forms human beings can create. However choreographing a routine can be a bit more challenging than it seems. Dance routines range in difficulty from the hokey cokey to advanced ballroom technique. Ballroom or Latin-American dance routines can be fun and very visually impressive if the rights components are in place.
Izabela believes that "Creativity and a sense of fun are integral to choreographing a good dance routine". She has created choreography not only for international competitors but also for stars of the TV and CEO's of leading organisations.

Izabela's work as a Choreographer
Izabela recently chroeograped a dance scene for the new series of the hit BBC drama Silk. The BBC 1 shows follows the life of a group of barristers from a chambers in London. The series' main focus is on Martha Costello (Maxine Peake) and her ambition to become Queen's Counsel, known as 'taking silk'.
The series' writer, Peter Moffat, also wrote the series Criminal Justice and North Square, as well as an episode of Kavanagh QC. Before the series started, Moffat said in an interview, "I wanted Silk to be full of politics and intrigue. From my [Moffat's] experience at the Bar, I felt life in chambers had all of those components, with big stories and lots of courtroom drama—but I wanted to make it as much about barristers and their life in chambers as about the trials". |
Izabela assisted Brendan Cole to choreograph ballroom dances including the Tango, Waltz and Quickstep for his 2009 and 2010 Live and Unjudged Theatre Tour.
Due to sellout shows and huge audience demand, more dates have been arranged in May and June this year. With his sensational guest dancers Izabela Hannah, Scott Cole, Andrew Cuerden, Hanna Haarala, Nicole Cutler and superb singers Iain Mackenzie and Julie Maguire, and an amazing band directed by Barry Robinson, Brendan exploded onto the theatre circuit dazzling audiences with a feast of music song and dance As one reviewer put it : ‘the show was a fun celebration of dance and music .....a true toe-tapping terpsichorean triumph’.
